Another week in the NFL and Circa Million and another back and forth 3-2 week. It's been a slow grind above .500 and I'm still looking for another 4-1 or undefeated week. Let's get into the picks which features a wild one in Vegas:
Seahawks +3.5
Browns -2.5
Bears +9.5
Cardinals +2.5
Raiders PK
Seahawks +3.5
After starting off on a high note in Week 14 with a win on Thursday night, I went back to the well here with the Seahawks at home as a home divisional dog. They were a double play which I won't bore you with now because they ended up losing by 8 and not covering. Thought I could get one more TNF victory here, but it was not to be. Tough 0-1 start to the week.
Browns -2.5
Saturday game. This was easy money. So the Ravens are basically a trash team. Watson sucks for the Browns, but it didn't matter because Chubb ran enough to score a TD for the Browns and the Ravens offense didn't do one thing in this game. Browns won 13-3 for the cover in arguably one of the worst games to watch this season.
Bears +9.5
The Bears aren't good, but they've been decent this season in covering a big number. They hosted the Eagles in this one and I liked this spot all week. We haven't seen many teams cover big numbers this year and on the road in Chicago was a tough one IMO for the Eagles. Bears lose by 5, but get the cover for 2-1 so far.
Cardinals +2.5
Sigh. I hate the Broncos. So I have to preface this with why I picked the Cardinals and it was all about timing. I picked the Cardinals in this game when I thought Russell Wilson was playing. Russ has been awful this year. He gets ruled out later in the week and suddenly Brett Rypien is the starter. The line moves to a pick basically and you're thinking "hey, I have a good number with a backup QB in there against McCoy and now getting 2.5 points from where the line is. Didn't matter. Rypien was better than Russ has been at any point this season and the Cards couldn't move the ball. And they were up 9-3 in the second half at one point! Big loss here.
Raiders PK
Oh those Raiders. What a finish. Before that though, the Raiders were up 17-3 at halftime. I'm cooking dinner for my daughters and the Raiders have the ball at their own 30 up 17-3. I start cooking some delicious pasta and turn around 3 minutes later and it's Raiders ball at the same 30 yard line, but the score is now 17-10. WTF happened here!? I had to run to my phone and learn that Carr tossed a pick 6 to gift the Patriots a TD. Come on dude. Of course the Patriots come all the way back and even take the lead! Carr drives them down for a TD with 37 seconds left to tie it. OK, here comes OT. Nope, Stevenson and Meyers lose their mind for the Pats on a last second play where they start lateralling it like the game isn't tied! Raiders get it and Chandler Jones runs it in for a score after stiff arming Mac Jones to hell. Crazy finish to an NFL game, stupid ass move by a Bill Belichick team and a 3-2 team for the good guys! Why do the Raiders always seem to have stupid finishes to their games?
Another 3-2 week headed into Christmas weekend. Where's my undefeated week that is sorely needed? Let's hope we can get it this week. Merry Christmas everyone!
Week 15: 3-2
Season: 37-34-4 (52.1%)
