After Week 7's disaster, I severely needed a bounce back week. Week 8 wasn't the greatest, but it was light years ahead of last week and could have easily been a 3-2 week. Let's jump into my picks:
Cowboys -9.5

My Cowboys, your Cowboys...America's Cowboys. I thought they would roll the Bears at home and I was correct on this one. The Cowboys won 49-29 and the line was never really in doubt. I also took the Cowboys in a Survivor pool this week so I was loving them this week. Ironically despite going 2-3, the two wins I did have were no doubters by the end of it.
Lions +3.5
Ah, the line was +4 earlier in the week, but the Circa released lines on Thursday with Lions +3.5. I still liked them in this home spot frankly because the Dolphins D haven't been good. Of course in typically Lions fashion, they were leading 27-17 at the half and scored zero points in the second half to lose by 4 and I don't cover by a half point. Awesome.
Texans +2.5
Blah, home divisional dog. Titans starting awful Malik Willis, but it didn't matter because Derrick Henry ran through the Texans all day long. You would think after years of having Henry run through your defense, the Texans would make it a priority to stop that man but the Big Dog is a beast so this was a loser. Texans offense being complete dog shit didn't help either.
Rams +1.5
Another home divisional dog. Last week, I was on the 49ers and they blew it late. This week, I went against the 49ers and they smoked the Rams late. The Rams look just straight broken at the moment. Stafford stinks, the defense has been pedestrian and Allen Robinson can't get open. And the Rams tried to trade for CMC, but already traded so many of their picks already so that didn't work. Rams may have some long years coming up.
Browns +3.5
Hey, a home divisional dog! This one came through and big time. I was 1-3 heading into MNF and the Browns walloped the Bengals at home. This was a no doubter as Chubb ran wild and Brissett actually played good to bring home the 2-3 week for me.
I'm still pissed about the Lions blowing their game as a 3-2 week to a 2-3 week is significant in the Circa Million. Gotta slowly climb myself back above .500 as we approach the half season mark.
